[redglass] Game theory

Kateřina has been focusing on noncooperative game theory, especially on inverse Stackelberg games (in game theoretic literature also referred to as reverse Stackelberg games or incentives), their properties and applications in traffic control, energy market liberalization problems, and economical theory of contracts.

She is a member of the TRAIL research school and participates in the Next Generation Infrastructures project.

For solving some of the problems, especially the optimal toll design problem, she used neurosimulation with the Neurosimulator FAUN, and for this reason cooperated with the Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik of the Leibniz Institute in Hannover.
