Abstract

Recently, significant effort has been devoted to improving robustness in multilevel solvers. In this talk, we discuss some of the progress made in the area of algebraic multigrid methods. Further, we investigate the relationship of these new methods with Multigrid Homogenization. Of particular interest is the appearance of a multigrid regularization term and its implications for both homogenization and solver performance.
