Research activities
Topics I'm interested in:
- Partial Differential
Equations.
- Computational Fluid Dynamics. Our group has been working on a general
incompressible flow solver in general coordinates. Finite volume. The DEFT
(formerly ISNaS) project.
- Large Sparse Systems, fast solvers. In 1997 I coded a multi grid preconditioner
for arbitrarily sized blocks for a scalar Laplacian equation in curvilinear
coordinates. Both 2D and 3D. It has been used in the DEFT package, but
it can also be used free standing. Here is a description

- Bifurcation Theory
- Minimal Surfaces
- Graphical Rendering of 2-D and 3-D functions.
