Research activities

Topics I'm interested in:

  1. Partial Differential Equations.
  2. Computational Fluid Dynamics. Our group has been working on a general incompressible flow solver in general coordinates. Finite volume. The DEFT (formerly ISNaS) project.
  3. Large Sparse Systems, fast solvers. In 1997 I coded a multi grid preconditioner for arbitrarily sized blocks for a scalar Laplacian equation in curvilinear coordinates. Both 2D and 3D. It has been used in the DEFT package, but it can also be used free standing. Here is a description , the package can also be downloaded.
  4. Bifurcation Theory
  5. Minimal Surfaces
  6. Graphical Rendering of 2-D and 3-D functions.

The math department has made available its series of reports.
